I'm Newman Thomas, a builder and developer with 20 years in IT. I've worked across different industries building software that businesses of every size actually use — and teaching owners how to put it to work. I run NT Digital out of Auckland, and Ontrepreneur is where I share that work — the tools, the training, and the community — with Kiwi business owners directly.
Most of my time goes into building products. I ship SaaS tools, WordPress platforms, and Android apps — usually multi-tenant, API-first, and built to scale. When a business needs something custom, I build it end to end through NT Digital: AI automations, web and mobile apps, websites that convert, and lead funnels that fill a pipeline.
If you care about the stack, here's the honest version of what I work with day to day:
The thread through all of it: build technology that pays for itself. Automations that replace hours of manual work, apps that replace expensive subscriptions, and funnels that bring in customers — designed and supported locally, with honest scopes and fixed pricing.
I kept meeting business owners who didn't need a big agency — they needed a straight answer and a practical tool. Ontrepreneur is that: a place to learn what works, get listed alongside other real Kiwi businesses, and pick up the tools that fix a specific problem when you hit it. No fluff, no lock-in.
This isn't theory. I've run business workshops for Rebel Business School, NZ Digital Boost and Impact Hub — sitting alongside owners as they built their first website or sent their first campaign. The workshops here are a continuation of that: practical, hands-on, and aimed squarely at owners who want to do more themselves.
